The Chi-Rho is a central symbol in the history of Christianity.
This ancient monogram refers to Christ through the letters XP, pronounced khi (X) and rho (P), forming “Christos” in the Greek alphabet. The Alpha and Omega letters, also drawn from Greek, are placed on either side of the X to express that God is the beginning and the end of all things.
This motif, delicately reinterpreted by Léna, our illustrator, brings together symbols of profound meaning for Christians. It is precisely for this reason that this medal makes an ideal and deeply symbolic gift for a religious baptism.
We offer you the opportunity to personalise the back of the medal with an engraving, such as your child’s first name placed just above a meaningful date, whether it be the baptism date or the date of birth.
