When it comes to christenings, there are certain traditions that never go out of style, like the white outfit the kid wears, the holy water on their head, and the christening medal given to them by their godparents.
We wanted to offer a medal that was unique and super symbolic. Here we find the gentle dove, a symbol of peace and hope for many, carrying an olive branch. This is well known in the Christian religion as bringing wealth and abundance.
The sparkle of light surrounding it brings a touch of originality and modernity that is dear to us and to our illustrator, Léna, who hand-drew this beautiful design.
The jewellery, medallion and chain are 18-carat gold-plated, making them durable enough for everyday wear by a baby. This means that the child can wear their christening jewellery throughout their life. We offer a 15 mm medallion, suitable for a child, suspended from a 38 cm chain.
